Save the date – National Gymnastics Day will be celebrated at BIO on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 12:30PM!  Join us for food, games, and fun!

National Gymnastics Day is a day to celebrate the sport of gymnastics and its positive influence on families everywhere. It is also the time of year BIO has its annual fundraising drive. Through events like the ones listed below, BIO is able to not only able help families with their tuition by keeping our pricing lower, but also support causes that are important to all of us. Once again this year, part of the proceeds will go towards our cause, “Kick it for Kim.” Kim Hyde was instrumental in getting BIO Gymnastics started and was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. A portion of the funds raised will go towards supporting her family and cancer awareness. This year we are upping the anti! Every family will get 40% of money they raise over $100 credited towards their account! The funds can be used toward tuition, pro shop, and competitive expenses!!

We have three different ways to fund raise this year:

1. 1.Kick it for Kim Kickoff – This annual fundraising event provides an opportunity for gymnasts of all ages to celebrate the sport of gymnastics and demonstrate their skills, while raising money for new equipment. We invite everyone, from toddlers in the Big Bear/Little Bear classes to the team gymnasts, to join us for an afternoon of food, fun, contests, and prizes. Students can get pledges to see how many of their favorite skills they can perform in an hour.

2. Raffle Tickets – Attached is an envelope with 10 raffle tickets for a 50/50 raffle to sell for $1 each. The grand prize will be a half of the total sales. As the pot grows, so will the value of the grand prize, so you can check in often to let friends and family know that may want to take a chance to win the prize! There will be other prizes too – an hour long massage; two 30 minute massages; private lessons with your favorite coaches; free month of boot camp and much, much more!! If you need more tickets, you can ask the office. Please turn in your sold/unsold tickets to the office as well.
3. Advertising Banners – If you or someone you know owns a business, advertising banners are an extremely economical way for them to increase their business and you to benefit. Starting at $250, the business or family can get a banner to hang in the gym for a year!

Thank you for helping us in what we are sure will be a very successful event!! Every family that raises $50 will get an event t-shirt for their child! 🙂

Join us monthly for Kid’s Night Out from 6:00 – 10:00pm – let your kids have the evening out with pizza, games, craft and a snack.  $20 for the first child, $15 for the second, $10 for the third.  Typically held on the third Saturday of the month, advanced registration is strongly encouraged to ensure a spot and can be done on our website.
