- Families or adults who are temporarily unemployed, overwhelmed by medical bills or are experiencing other temporary financial difficulties.
TO OBTAIN A SCHOLARSHIP
Complete the application attached to this document. Please answer all questions completely. Incomplete applications will NOT be processed.
Scholarship Checklist – Two documents from below are required in addition to your completed application:
- Copy of applicant’s driver’s license or government-issued ID
- ELC – Early Learning Coalition
- EBT – Electronic Benefits Transfer
- Free and reduced price school meals
- Foster Child Documentation
- Gardner, McKay or Step Up
- Medical Documentation Indicating Special Services Needed.
If you are unable to submit complete documentation noted above, a letter of explanation may be included in this financial scholarship application for consideration. It may take up to 30 days to process your application.
HOW WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS
BIO is an organization committed to helping people grow through sports, activity and overall wellness. We believe that our programs should be available to everyone. Thanks to the anonymous supporters of BIO we are able to provide financial assistance through our scholarship program.
SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS
The scholarship amount is based on:
- Type of financial assistance documentation.
- Program(s) selected.
- Student to instructor ratio.
- Space availability.
- Overall funds available to the FORCE program annually.
Scholarships generally do not exceed 50% for membership/programs.
Scholarships are subject to approval, funding availability, and program space availability.
Open Enrollment for scholarship, May 1st 2026 – August 31st 2026. Scholarship length will be determined on a case to case basis. Scholarship length will be provided in your acceptance letter.
